Teamily AI Refund Policy

1. Overview
Teamily provides access to digital, AI-powered, and subscription-based services. Unless otherwise stated in this Policy or required by applicable law:
- All purchases are final and non-refundable, except as described in this Policy.
- Fees for subscription plans are generally non-refundable once the billing period has begun, except as described in Sections 7, 11, and 12 below.
2. Scope
This Policy applies to all purchases made directly through teamily.ai and through our mobile applications (iOS and Android). For purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, the respective platform's refund policy applies.
3. Subscriptions and Automatic Renewal
3.1 Subscription Terms
Paid subscriptions to the Service are offered on a recurring basis (e.g., monthly or annual). When you subscribe, you will be clearly informed of:
- The subscription plan you are purchasing and the features included;
- The billing frequency (e.g., monthly, annually) and the amount to be charged;
- That your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period at the then-current rate, unless you cancel before the renewal date; and
- How to cancel your subscription.
3.2 Consent Records
Before your subscription begins, we will obtain your express affirmative consent to the automatic renewal terms. This consent will be obtained separately and clearly, and will not be bundled with or obscured by other terms. We maintain records of your consent for at least three (3) years, or one (1) year after the subscription is terminated, whichever period is longer.
3.3 Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through the same medium you used to subscribe. If you subscribed online, you can cancel online through your account settings at teamily.ai/account/subscription.
Upon cancellation:
- No further charges will be applied after the current billing period ends.
- You will continue to have access to paid features until the end of the current billing cycle.
- Cancellation does not result in a refund for the current billing period, except where required by applicable law (see Sections 11 and 12).
3.4 Annual Renewal Reminders
For annual subscriptions, we will send you a reminder notice before each renewal. This reminder will be sent via the same medium you used to subscribe (e.g., email) and will include the renewal amount, billing frequency, and instructions on how to cancel.
3.5 Price Changes
If we change the price of your subscription plan, we will provide you with clear and conspicuous notice of the price change, along with information on how to cancel, at least thirty (30) days before the new price takes effect.
3.6 Free Trials
Before the trial converts to a paid subscription, we will clearly disclose the price, billing frequency, and cancellation method.
4. One-Time Purchases
One-time purchases (e.g., add-on credits) are generally non-refundable once delivered, except in the circumstances described in Section 7.
5. Enterprise and Team Plans
Refund terms for enterprise and team plans are governed by the applicable enterprise agreement. In the absence of a specific agreement, this Policy applies.
6. Platform-Specific Purchases (Apple App Store / Google Play)
If you purchased a subscription or other paid feature through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, refund requests must be submitted directly to the respective platform.
Restore Purchases: If you have previously purchased a Teamily subscription through the App Store and need to restore access on a new or reinstalled device, use the "Restore Purchases" function available within the Teamily app. This allows you to recover your existing subscription without being charged again, in accordance with Apple App Store Guidelines §3.1.1.
If you subscribed through the App Store or Google Play, you must manage and cancel your subscription through the respective platform's subscription settings. Deleting the Teamily app does not cancel your subscription.
7. Eligible Refund Circumstances
Refunds may be issued in the following circumstances:
- Duplicate charges: If you were charged more than once for the same subscription period or purchase.
- Billing errors: If a billing error attributable to Teamily resulted in an incorrect charge, we will refund the difference or the full amount, as applicable.
- Service unavailability: If the Service was materially unavailable or non-functional for a significant portion of your billing period due to issues within our control, you may be eligible for a pro-rata refund or service credit.
- Statutory rights: Where required by applicable law (see Sections 11 and 12).
8. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, contact us at support@teamily.ai with:
- Your account email address;
- The date and amount of the charge;
- The reason for your refund request;
- Any supporting documentation (e.g., screenshots of errors, duplicate charge receipts).
9. Refund Processing
Refunds will be returned to the original payment method used for the purchase. We will process approved refunds within five (5) business days of approval. Depending on your payment provider, it may take an additional 5–10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement.
10. Chargebacks and Billing Disputes
If you have a billing question or believe a charge was made in error, we encourage you to contact us first at support@teamily.ai so we can resolve the issue promptly. In most cases, we can address billing concerns faster than the chargeback process.
You retain the right to dispute charges with your payment provider at any time. However, please be aware that:
- Filing a chargeback while a refund request is pending with us may delay resolution.
- If a chargeback is filed and subsequently determined by the payment provider to be without merit, we reserve the right to recover the disputed amount and any associated fees.
- Repeated chargeback filings that are determined to be fraudulent by the payment provider may result in account review.
11. EU/EEA and UK Consumer Right of Withdrawal
11.1 Right of Withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from your subscription or purchase within fourteen (14) days of the date of purchase, without giving any reason. To exercise this right, you must notify us of your decision by sending a clear statement (e.g., by email to support@teamily.ai) before the 14-day period expires.
11.2 Reimbursement
We will reimburse all payments received from you, without undue delay and in any event no later than fourteen (14) days from the day on which we are informed of your decision to withdraw. The reimbursement will be made using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise.
11.3 Exceptions
The right of withdrawal does not apply if you have expressly requested that performance of the service begin before the end of the withdrawal period and acknowledged that you will lose your right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed.
11.4 Electronic Withdrawal Button
In accordance with applicable EU consumer protection law (Omnibus Directive 2019/2161), we provide an electronic withdrawal button to make it easy for EU/EEA/UK consumers to exercise their right of withdrawal.

11.4.1 How to Access the Withdrawal Button
The electronic withdrawal button is accessible via:
- Web: Settings → Subscription → Cancel / Withdraw (EU)
- Mobile (iOS/Android): Settings → Subscription → Manage → Withdraw (EU)
The button will be clearly labeled and accessible without requiring additional navigation steps.
11.4.2 Withdrawal Process
When you click the withdrawal button:
- You will be presented with a confirmation screen summarizing your withdrawal rights;
- You may confirm your withdrawal or cancel the process;
- Upon confirmation, your withdrawal request will be processed immediately;
- You will receive a confirmation email within 24 hours.
11.4.3 Availability
The electronic withdrawal button will be available no later than June 19, 2026. Until that date, you may exercise your right of withdrawal by contacting us at support@teamily.ai.

12. California Automatic Renewal Law (ARL)
For California residents, the following rights apply under Cal. Bus. & Prof. Code §17600 et seq. (as amended by AB 2863, effective July 1, 2025):
- You have the right to cancel your subscription through the same medium you used to subscribe (Section 3.3).
- You will receive annual renewal reminders for annual subscriptions (Section 3.4).
- You will receive at least 30 days' notice before any price increase.
- You have the right to receive a full refund for any charges made after cancellation.
13. Dispute Resolution
If you have a dispute regarding a refund decision, please contact us at support@teamily.ai. We will attempt to resolve the dispute within 10 business days. If we are unable to resolve the dispute, you may escalate to the dispute resolution procedures described in our Terms of Service (Section 13).
14. Payment Processing
Payments are processed by third-party payment processors:
- Stripe: Processes web and direct subscription payments. Teamily, Inc. is the merchant of record and is solely responsible for refund decisions and customer support related to billing for purchases made directly through our platform.
- RevenueCat: Manages mobile in-app subscription entitlements and billing for iOS (App Store) and Android (Google Play) purchases. RevenueCat acts as a data processor under a signed DPA and does not act as merchant of record for mobile purchases (Apple and Google are the merchants of record for their respective platforms).

15. Enterprise Account Transfers
In the event that your account is transferred to or associated with an enterprise account (e.g., your employer's Teamily organization), the following applies to refund and payment processing:
- Individual refund rights under this Policy are preserved for purchases made prior to the transfer.
- Billing responsibility may transfer to the enterprise account holder. Any outstanding refund requests submitted prior to the transfer will continue to be processed under the terms applicable at the time of the original purchase.
16. Singapore PDPA
If you are a user located in Singapore, your personal data processed in connection with your subscription and refund requests is subject to the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA), as further detailed in our Terms of Service v2.3 §16A. Your rights under the PDPA include access and correction rights.
17. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before taking effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of the revised Policy constitutes your acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree with the revised Policy, you may cancel your subscription before the changes take effect.
